Scorch is a stunning black male German shepherd with the kind of strength, personality, and intensity that immediately set him apart. He currently weighs 75 pounds and is at the ideal age to meet his forever family.
We are extremely excited to have such a powerful yet clear headed male available. Scorch is impressive in every way. He is very handler orientated, enviornmentally stable, and has an insane presence when it's time to work.
Scorch comes from two very versitle parents who have competed in both IGP and PSA. With top tier genetics, an excellent foundation as a puppy and advanced skills, exposure, and training, he has everything that one of our Elite Protection Dogs emulates. The complete package.
Scorch adores children, loves to play with other dogs, and we have not found one thing he is deterred by. He is playful, engaged, and genuinely happy to be a part of their world. He is not one who simply tolerates children, he connects with them, watches them, plays with them and enjoys being inclued in their day.
Outside of training we continue to see calm, respectful behavior here at our facility as well as out in public. He understands how to exist around other animals without becoming overly stimulated or reactive, which speaks to both his upbringing and his temperament.
In bite work, his intensity is impossible to miss. He has a true light-switch quality. One moment he can be calm, affectionate, and relaxed with his people. The next, when asked to work, he turns on with explosive power and complete commitment.
Scorch is not your average German Shepherd with a stunning appearance. He is a devoted family companion, a powerful protector, and a dog with the heart, confidence, personality and ability to stand between his family and a threat.
